Joi Beasley

Joi Beasley is a Business Owner and Organizational Development Leader and Dale Carnegie Certified Business Coach with extensive experience working with all organizational levels creating, promoting, and delivering solutions designed to support the organization’s business plan.  She has worked with small business to large corporations.  Beasley’s experience includes over 20 years in executive management, training, organizational development, leadership development and human resource management.   She has been recognized for applying innovation and creativity to motivate and achieve business results, with a pragmatic approach to leadership, performance management and human resource problem solving.

Beasley is President/CEO of GOGO Business Communications, a branding, marketing and print-on-demand company, recently introducing business consulting and organizational and professional development to GOGO’s service offerings. GOGO was acquired by Beasley from her former company, OnSite EDsicovery of which she served as Vice President of Human Resources for five years.  Beasley is passionate about creating an interactive and enjoyable business environment that supports learning.  As Vice President of Human Resources, she set the strategic human resource and training direction for 4500 employees. Beasley was brought into this role to facilitate and manage the people development of this fast growing company. From the “ground-up”, she organized and developed the Human Resources, Training, Payroll, Benefits and Marketing Departments, leading functions such as staffing, needs assessment, curriculum design and planning. Beasley also served as Employee Relations Director and Human Resources Director IKON Office Solutions with a 10,000 employee region, designing and delivering successful programs in management development, team building, diversity, communications, customer service, sales, change management, performance management as well as many other topics. Her work has always been focused on meeting the strategic needs of the organization.  Beasley’s outstanding strengths include leadership, communication, facilitation and influencing.

Beasley also enjoys taking leadership roles that support and uplift the community. She is the Vice Chair for the Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce, served on the Board of Directors for Alzheimer’s Association, and CSTEM Student Support Services and past Advisory Board Member for Houston Black MBAs.

A Fellow of the American Leadership Forum, Beasley was recently awarded as a Distinguished Alumni by the Houston Fisk Alumni Association, and, also honored as 2015 Houston Black MBA Entrepreneurial Leadership.  With focus and determination, as owner and operator of GOGO Business Communications, Inc.  Beasley has established a customer following and near ten year presence in the Houston business community.  She is proud to be recognized for her Business Leadership and Community Service by ROADWomen.  Additional awards for business include, 2011 Pinnacle Award Winner, Great Black Houston Chamber and Emerging 10 Award Winner of the Houston Minority Supplier Diversity Council.  She has maintained a reputation as a superior service provider, as marked by the Supplier Excellence Award 2010 for Metro’s Real Mean Business Program.

A native of Omaha, NE, Beasley holds a Bachelor of Arts from Fisk University and Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Tulsa.
