Who is Alabaster?

Based on the Principles of Industrial Organizational Psychology, Alabaster is a consulting firm focusing organizations, business professionals, executives and leaders on identifying, understanding their business skills and leveraging them for maximum performance potential towards profitable results.

Our practice is geared toward facilitating organizations to discovering workplace solutions during prosperity and in the mist of difficulties and challenges. We are problem-solving driven and reaching quantifiable goals. It is critical to preserve a position of forward-thinking.

Organizational Development is providing a pragmatic forward thinking approach to promote workplace success, business achievement and redesign our challenges into opportunities. Joi Beasley, Chief Strategist

Joi Beasley is a Business Owner and Organizational Development Leader and Dale Carnegie Certified Business Coach with extensive experience working with all organizational levels creating, promoting, and delivering solutions designed to support the organization’s business plan.  She has worked with small business to large corporations.  Beasley’s experience includes over 20 years in executive management, training, organizational development, leadership development and human resource management.   She has been recognized for applying innovation and creativity to motivate and achieve business results, with a pragmatic approach to leadership, performance management and human resource problem solving.

Beasley is passionate about creating an interactive and enjoyable business environment that supports learning. From the “ground-up”, she organized and developed the Human Resources, Training, Payroll, Benefits and Marketing Departments, leading functions such as staffing, needs assessment, curriculum design and planning. Beasley also served as Employee Relations Director and Human Resources Director IKON Office Solutions with a 10,000 employee region, designing and delivering successful programs in management development, team building, diversity, communications, customer service, sales, change management, performance management as well as many other topics.

A native of Omaha, NE, Beasley holds a Bachelor of Arts from Fisk University and Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Tulsa.
